Linda Dodd is a resident of Madrid, NM and has been painting since childhood. Her paintings were first shown in 2007 in a local gallery and where she remained the top selling artist for over 9 months. Her paintings are in private collections, both nationally and internationally.
Artist Statement: "I see things that other people don't, I guess. I simply create what screams to be born. A recent MFA graduate described my work as "Pollock and Picasso on Prozac" . . . I have since been trying to channel them but I think I may be experiencing adverse side effects now.
"I tout no formal training whatsoever. My need to paint, or to create, has been part of me for as long as I can remember. My work is constantly evolving ... which makes the future sometimes exciting and sometimes excruciating. My parents are still waiting for me to get a real job."
