purveyors of curious thangs

I’m a full time artist working in recycled art, painting and printmaking. Recycled art used to be thrown in with other genres. Some recycled artists keep objects intact and recognizable. I use them for color and texture.
My stuff is fashioned from recycled metal and found objects. I used to do production- no more!
Art school wasn’t much help when I started fashioning metal pieces- it’s been primarily a “hands on” process.
I’m a founding member of the annual Recycled Santa Fe Festival, now in its 16th. Year.
Recycled art consumes most of my creative time. But happy to say I’m painting again! Acrylics work best for traveling, so oils are out.
I make monotypes when there’s a press around and time to print.
My art education included The University of New Mexico, San Jose State University in California, Glen Ellen Collage in Illinois and New Mexico Highlands University.
